Tea & coffee is plentiful 24/7 in the fully equipped Hub where complete self catering is available or you can choose to eat with other Astrofarm guests. Our meals are freshly prepared from home grown and local products.
Breakfast, served daily from 8.00 am to 12 noon, includes coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juices, warm croissants, honey and jam, yoghurts, eggs, fresh fruit and cereals.
If the guests have been up all night with their telescopes, they can have breakfast right up until lunchtime!
Cooking, eating & relaxing
The Hub, open 24/7, is a comfortable communal area, with table seating for 10 guests and is well stocked with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The kitchen provides self catering cooking facilities with a fridge, cooker, dishwasher and a range of kitchen essentials!
Please note that we are not able to sell alcohol but you are welcome to purchase drinks at our local supermarket just 1km away. We have even provided a large guest fridge for chilling your drinks in the summer!
During the warmer months, the outside veranda is a delightful social area for eating with a barbecue facility and plentiful seating.
With heating in winter, this cosy room provides a comfortable space to relax where visitors can enjoy an extensive library, games, comfy chairs and TV with DVD player.
We also offer an optional delicious, freshly cooked, 2 course ‘Plat de Jour’ dinner with a glass of wine, each evening for €15. Where possible we source local ingredients and in the summer we supply our own vegetables from the allotment.
You can check out the blackboard each day, detailing the meal for the following day and book if you like the choice! Just pay for what you have had at the end of your stay.
Our fully equipped kitchen and supermarket just 1km away makes it easy for you to prepare lunches, picnics and snacks at Astrofarm. We have a daily minibus trip to the supermarket so you can buy all your wonderful local French cheeses, pates, meats and breads. Alternatively we have a fully fitted kitchen and a purpose built barbecue if you prefer to self cater or cook as a group. A huge variety of wines, beers and local Cognac are available just 2 minutes down the road and you are welcome to buy your own to enjoy in the evenings in the Hub.
