Our 12 bed Astrofarm B&B and self-catering centre is set in over 2 hectares of French farmland, in Confolens, Charente, South West of France. The original farmhouse is close to 150 years old and enjoys the title of 'highest house in the commune' although much of the Charente is flat!
Our unique Astrofarm B&B and self-catering centre offers choice, flexibility and comfort with our renowned hospitality and warm welcome. We have carefully restored the attached barn to create a modern, warm and comfortable dortoir (a room for sleeping), without losing the stunning features typical of a Charentais farm.
The modernised separate house next door provides 1 double and 1 twin self-catering bedroom with shower rooms, a kitchen and stunning lounge and balcony.
In addition, astronomers have 24-hour access to The Hub on the astronomy site - a heated space for guests to work on their imaging, make a brew and stay warm during the night. Astrofarm B&B guests have full use of the plentiful seating around the gardens.
